Welcome to the NEET Youth Developing Entrepreneurial Skills (NYDES) Erasmus+ Project, where we promote entrepreneurial skills, leadership and communication in NEET young people (aged 18 to 29) in rural areas of Spain, Turkey and Greece.

About NYDES Project.

Our mission

The NEET Youth Developing Entrepreneurial Skills (NYDES) project aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial, leadership and communication skills of young people not in education, employment or training (NEETs) aged 18 to 29 in rural areas of Spain, Turkey and Greece. We provide training, support for social innovation projects, and connections with local organisations and funding sources.

To increase entrepreneurial skills and motivation among 80% of participating NEET youth.

Dinserta CEE

Coordinator (Spain)

Dinserta is a special employment center based in Almazora, Spain. With years of experience in integrating disadvantaged youth into the workforce, Dinserta is dedicated to providing vocational training, employment support, and entrepreneurial skills development for NEET youth. Their expertise in job training and community impact makes them a key partner in the project.

Çorlu Municipality

Partner (Turkey)

Çorlu Municipality, located in the Marmara Region of Turkey, is actively involved in rural development and youth empowerment. They offer educational programs, eco-friendly initiatives, and youth integration into social and economic life. Their experience in working with local youth and promoting sustainable development will be instrumental in delivering training and mentoring to NEET youth.

Partner (Greece)

Based in Athens, Greece, Three Thirds Society specializes in fostering youth participation and social inclusion. They focus on entrepreneurial and social economy initiatives to empower vulnerable groups, particularly NEET youth. Their extensive experience in organizing seminars, workshops, and training for youth will help guide the development of leadership and entrepreneurship skills in the project.

Activities

The project "Rural Entrepreneurship Empowered by Motivation: NEET Youth Developing Entrepreneurial Skills" includes a variety of activities aimed at empowering NEET youth through training, mentorship, and hands-on experiences in rural areas. Below is an overview of each planned activity:

A1. Project Management

Duration: January 2025 - June 2026
This ongoing activity focuses on developing local and international networks to enhance social inclusion and integrate youth into the workforce. It includes strategic planning, communication between partners, and resource-building activities to ensure effective project management.

A4. Local Training Course for NEETs in Greece

Duration: April 20-24, 2025
A 5-day training for 30 NEET youth in Greece, focusing on developing motivation, leadership, and entrepreneurship skills. The course will also provide practical knowledge on cooperative entrepreneurship and project management to help participants create and manage their own projects.

A2. Kick-off Meeting (Spain)

Duration: February 20-22, 2025
A 3-day meeting where all partners will align on project goals, timelines, and responsibilities. The meeting will focus on introducing the project to stakeholders, addressing key challenges like lack of motivation, and setting up the collaborative processes for youth involvement.

A5. Local Training Course for NEETs in Türkiye

Duration: April 20-24, 2025
A 5-day training event in Türkiye designed for 30 NEET youth. The course will cover leadership development, entrepreneurial skills, and project cycle management, with an emphasis on cooperative entrepreneurship. Participants will collaborate on projects that support rural development.

A3. Local Training Course for NEETs in Spain

Duration: April 20-24, 2025
This 5-day training will equip 30 NEET youth with essential skills in entrepreneurship, leadership, and project management. It will include workshops on motivation, cooperative entrepreneurship, and project cycle management, alongside networking opportunities with local entrepreneurs.

A6. Transnational Training Course for NEETs (Türkiye)

Duration: June 15-19, 2025
This 5-day training will bring together 30 NEET youth from Spain, Greece, and Türkiye. The event will focus on fostering international cooperation, cooperative entrepreneurship, and project management, as participants collaborate on rural development projects.

A7. Preparing a Guidebook for NEETs: Pathways to Empowerment

Duration: July - October 2025
This activity will produce a comprehensive guidebook for NEET youth, providing strategies for cooperative entrepreneurship and rural development. The guide will empower youth with practical tools to launch social innovation projects and engage in community-driven development.

A8. Dissemination, Monitoring, and Sustainability of the Project

Duration: January 2025 - June 2026
Ongoing activities will focus on sharing the results of the project, monitoring its progress, and ensuring its sustainability. This includes the use of social media, reports, and local media platforms to engage the community and ensure the lasting impact of the project.
